Gene Simmons visited Detroit Rock City to celebrate the grand opening of a restaurant co-founded by him and his Kiss bandmate, Paul Stanley.

 

The new Rock & Brews location in Royal Oak, Michigan marks the duo’s expansion of their restaurant chain, which started in Southern California in 2010. Simmons emphasized the importance of providing top-quality food and service to customers, stating that they aim to continually improve and innovate. The Kiss members have a special connection to Detroit, as the city played a significant role in the band’s early success and is referenced in their iconic song “Detroit Rock City.”

 

Simmons expressed gratitude for the support from Detroit fans and reminisced about the band’s history in the city, highlighting its importance in Kiss’s rise to fame.
