Bruce Springsteen says he can still remember the first time he heard his music on the radio.
In a UK radio interview, the 71-year-old rocker says he was standing on a street corner in Connecticut when a car pulled up blasting “Spirit of the Night” on the radio.

He said “I wanted to run up to his car and say ‘Hey, that’s me!’ But I didn’t do that. I just stood there in shock and ecstasy.”
