This was definitely not on the menu. Students at a Louisiana State University dining hall Wednesday night had a wild surprise when a raccoon came crashing through the ceiling while they were eating. Videos posted on social media show the raccoon looking confused and at one point, trying to get into a backpack.A video on TikTok shows a person trying to catch the raccoon with a large plastic trash can.

Students can be seen standing on tables and chairs while the four-legged visitor chaotically runs around. Animal control officials were eventually called in to safely catch the dinner crasher. The raccoon was released into an appropriate wildlife area… away from backpacks and lunchboxes.
