Well, my birthday celebrations now seem rather boring.
Georgina Harwood, a South African great-grandmother, decided to tempt fate for her 100th birthday. And why not, right?
Although she had completed her first skydive at age 92, she decided to give it another go now that her age has reached another digit. But don’t worry, she’s not stopping there. After completing the tandem jump on Saturday, she jumped in a cage to get up close and personal with a few sharks today.
As someone who has skydived multiple times and cage-dived with Great Whites in South Africa, I can attest that both of these activities offer quite an adrenaline rush. I have to say well done to Georgina for proving that adventure truly doesn’t have an age limit.
