The Chicago Tribune claims the Woodstock, Illinois Fire Department is crediting a dog with saving the lives of 50 people from a massive fire that engulfed a-32 unit apartment complex. The dog started barking at 3 a.m. before his owner took him for a walk. The dog’s owner called 911 after he saw smoke coming from an apartment. The man then started knocking on doors telling residents to leave. Seventy firefighters were called to extinguish the massive blaze.
